Family Dispute
A family of nine brothers and two sisters was in dispute as to how to interpret their late father's will and to deal with a letter of "wishes" that he had allegedly dictated to one of the brothers before his death.
The estate comprised property and jewellery, not all of which had been independently valued.
After some eleven hours of mediation a formula was agreed whereby the division of the estate took into account various gifts that had been received by family members whilst their parents were alive.
